Why do my SERP results for google differ substantially from yahoo and bing?

For my new website (about a month old now) for an important keyword I am actively trying to rank high for I currently have the 8th spot in yahoo, 12th in bing and 137th in google (all the way on the 14th page where no one will ever see it) Why might this be the case? At this point i think google may be penalizing me (for what I have no idea). The only strange thing is that my SERP in yahoo and bing returns www.mywebsite.com and in google it just returns mywebsite.com. Could the not having a www for google have something to do with it?
