Does anyone know of another website like craigslist?

Anyone know a website other then craigslist where I can advertise my babysitting job?

    Jfc don't advertise your age on craigslist - even if you put your ad in the baby section some perv could easily set up a babysitting job for you to lure underage you to their house alone. You're better off going through friends of friends to find jobs in this day and age. Ask the mothers to mention you to anyone they know with young kids so you have some contact with the family before you accept a job blind. Mention it to your parents and ask them to mention it to coworkers and people at churches. If you know anyone who works at a daycare, ask them to drop your name to parents looking for help. You could also try to advertise yourself as a "mothers helper" and see if a ob/gyn or doula will let you advertise through them, or try sittercity.

The other poster is correct. On-line advertising has no value for your type of business. Keep it local, put notes up in your local churches or grocery store. You are more likely to get people you know & live near you to call. Once you hit 16, try the food court at the mall or your local ice cream shop. They (sometimes) will hire under 18, as they sell nothing restricted by law.

I've gotten nannys off CL, but I'd never let my daughter babysit from it. I've called the High School before looking for a sitter. Are you enrolled in a child care class? Ask that teacher. Also, try the local grocery stores or gyms to put fliers up. Have your parents bring you for an interview ahead of time. You never know! Be careful! Make cute little business cards & hand them out at stores or the park. You never know when a busy Momma may just ask you to come over so she can take a nap or do the laundry.
