How do I become an event planner?

Im trying to become an event planner help!?

• I know most people wouldn't want to hire someone without much experience, my thought was to offer to plan some events for free in order to get the feel for what I'm doing and to gain experience. My question is how do I offer my services for free ? How do I make people become open to allowing my to plan their event and how can I advertise it?

  Simple. Start from your own city/neighborhood. Distribute ads on newspaper or websites. Build experience from managing small events like house parties, birthday parties, etc. By that, people will start to know you slowly, give your best efforts and impress them.
