Is Joomla search engine friendly?

• Hi I am going to design my website with joomla. I was wondering if joomla is search engine friendly. I mean if I use the write content and keywords, will my website come up in the first page of search engines? Thanks

  No one can guarantee your site will appear on the first page. People have paid thousands of dollars to "SEO experts" and never made it to the first page. That being said, I have two sites built and run with Joomla. It is SEO friendly if you use the plug-in and remember to rename the correct file for the Apache. The instructions for how to do this are pretty clear on the Joomla.org site. One of my sites fluctuates off and on to the front page of searches. The other one is basically a static site that I just have up with info about my business, but because I have all the business I can handle right now, I ignore that one. Needless to say, it is not on the front page of any search. Make sure when adding articles in Joomla that you use the keyword, title feature, and category sections correctly. As long as you do that, and provide quality, frequently updated content, you have a shot at front page just as well as with any other cms.
