Why a person can get on SSI b/c they cant work use the money rent a garage & fix cars & dont report it?

i know this sounds bad for what im about to say and yes you are correct it is very bad and not the american way of doing things. but heres my input..what are politicians doing to us right now? they dont pay for their insurance we do, we pay their salaries for what? to be ignored. i say us americans will start acting grown up and start follwoing the rules when they do...

Would you rather he just did nothing? Generally speaking they don't come down so hard on people in this sort of situation because working some is often a path to working enough to live without SSI. If he's making big bucks it's obviously outright fraud, but if he still needs the SSI to get by on while he grows his business a bit, is it such a big deal?

I agree with UNMATCHE Pols steal more money In a half hour on a golf course or over drinks at the Counrty Club then any ssi guy picking up a few extra bucks.Its like the mythical welfare queens they always like to trot out its bait and switch for the ignorant too lazy or stupid to do the math.Just look at Wall Street

If they dont report any earned income and it catches up with them they will have to pay it back.It will be in small amounts out of their check .Once payed for the check will resume in full.

You should report this person for fraud.
