Why do I have jaw pain on the left side of my jaw?

Pain somewhere behind the left side of my jaw?

  • I been having this pain behind my left jaw. It's does not hurt when I chew but two teeth seem to be making contact when I shut my teeth from behind in that are. Though I believe it might one my baby teeth(I'm 17 and still have 2) that might be on it's way out but it doesn't seem like I can move it. Each time I move my jaw forward, the left side has like this pain that like that side can't move forward anymore. I don't what will happen if I force it to move forward so that's why I'm asking for help. It been going on for several days. No change in the pain. No pain when I squeeze my back teeth together. Any Ideas?

  • Answer:

Perhaps you pulled a muscle in your jaw? If it doesn't resolve itself, I would go see a doctor.
