Solution for back pain?

I get pain if I sit for an hour or so. Any solution?

  • I have a problem when I sit for even about half an hour or so even on cushioned chairs, expecially while travelling in buses or trains. My spinal cord aches at the last ring. The pain is not acute. But, I can't sit. So, I lie down. Is there a solution to my problem? Even at home or office this pain starts after an hour or so.

  • Answer:

    See a doctor

the only thing you can really do is see an orthopedic doctor about it. have you tried using a donut cushion? they help people with back and spine problems and can't sit for long periods of time.

While sitting your back muscles are tightening up to cause the pains. Freeing them back up will keep the pains from happening again and here's how to free up your back muscles for your relief: Back: (do from a sitting position) Place your left hand on your left leg next to your body. Place your right hand over your left shoulder, fingers over the back and the palm in the front and firmly pull down on them and hold. After 30 seconds slowly lower your body forward and to the outside of your left leg, keeping your left arm fairly straight as you do. When you reach your lap remain there for another 10 seconds, release the pressure but rest there for another 30 seconds. Then reverse your hand positions and do your right side. For best results relax your body first by taking a deep breath and exhaling then remain this relaxed.
