Why is my ear is throbbing?

Why do I have tingling sensation in my head and throbbing sound in my ear?

  • I have been getting tingling sensations in my head every now and then for going on 6 months. My doctor said 6 months ago that it was possibly pinched nerves (Situational nerve damage...meaning when my back leans against my pillow at night, my nerves are being sort of pinched.) However, when I researched it, I read it could be MS, brain tumors, etc....I have also been having a throbbing sound every now and then in my right ear (sort of like one heartbeat). Any ideas on what this could be?? Or has anyone gone through this?? Thanks.

  • Answer:

oh my gosh. i get the same thing. i get the tingling in my head, and that throbbing in my ear! i went to my neurologist and he said that it might be pinched nerves, but i was also diagnosed with ADD and he said that might have something to do with it, so you might want to get tested for that :) something about brain activity. yeah...sorry this wasn't very helpful. but you're not alone! lol that was cheesy...
