Does anyone know of any GOOD ear plugs?

Has anyone ever used ear plugs for flying, due to the ear pressure pain?

  • I have severe ear pain during the take off and landing. I would like to purchase some ear plugs to use while flying...take off and landing...but I want to know if anyone has ever used them before. And how effective are they?

    That will obviously depend on the style and fit of the earplugs. I personally find them to be a great relief. But be careful when u remove them after takeoff... The change of pressure can really pop ur ears painfully so try to do it in a slow twisting motion so that they'll gradually adjust.

Well, they don't cost a lot of money, and you should try them out! Personally, they didn't work for me. Nothing did though. I'm probably just abnormal. Gum didn't work, hard candy didn't work, earplugs didn't work. It was torterous, I hate airplanes because of it. But yeah, just purchase them, and some gum! Doesn't hurt to be too careful! :)

They never worked very well for me, but I just chew gum while taking off and landing and I don't have problems anymore.

I usually yawn when my ears start to hurt, sounds silly but it really works! Try it :)
