Can I take a pain reliever before I get my ears pierced?
-
I have my ears pierced but I want to get a second hole in each ear. I've had it done many years ago before, and they got infected so I took them out. I'm kind of scared of the pain this time, so can I take like an Aleve or something?
-
Answer:
You could put a local anaesthetic cream (like EMLA) on your ears 30 mins before the piercing. Aleve won't do very much to help with the pain at all.
