Why does my head hurt when i touch it?

why does my head hurt when i touch it? i dont even always get a headache when i touch certain areas it just hurts. the areas are in the back corners of my head, sides of my head, temples, lower back of head. can anybody help explain this? thank you!

Answer:
A woolen cap may be causing this. The scalp aches on touching. Or if you have long hair, on changing hair style.
