Why Does My Throat hurt When i Cough?

• so yesterday i was at a homecoming and i had fun when i went to bed i woke up with a stuffy nose, and my voice sounded a little weird and when i coughed it hurt? why? someone please tell me and is it Minor? can it go away?

  There is one muscle that is overlooked a lot and it can give you a lot of trouble. It is under your mouth. Try this and see how much relief you get from that: Under your chin: Place your thumbs up under your chin near the front. Feel the muscle between them for as tight as it can be. Press on it and hold. Relax, take a deep breath and exhale and don’t tense up any part of your body. When the muscle starts to release, slowly look upward until your neck is fully extended. Then release the pressure but hold your head there for one minute longer.
