Strange noise when I touch my ear.

Cant hear out of my left ear? read all of description please?

• i cant hear out of my left ear. when i touch the back of my left ear, i hear a crunching noise. also, i hear a ringing noise from my left ear. i went to the doctor, they said i had swimmers ear (but i dont swim?) and an ear infection from the inside of my ear or something... aka, i have a double ear infection in my left ear. i had a lot of wax in my left ear, so the doctor took a silver tool and stuck it in my ear and pulled it all out. i have been taking ear drops (4 drops in my left ear) four times a day for about 5 days and i stilll cant hear from it! about one week ago (2 days before i went to the doctor) i applied a hot, wet washcloth to my left ear which relieved the pain in my ear that night. also, when i bend my head forward and bend my body forward so my head is about 12 inches from the floor, my ear becomes unplugged! please tell me how to solve this? is it normal to have hearing loss after an ear infection, and will i gain my hearing back soon???? ***IT IS NOT TMJ SO PLEASE DO NOT SUGGEST THAT*** 10 easy points for best answer thanks

  What you need to do is get back on to see the doctors again & meanwhile you have already said that a warm towel or even a warm water bottle wrapped inside a towel & lay on the side of the ear that is causing this problem I would suggest warming some olive oil & putting that into your ear before you go to bed & even put some into your ear every 2-hours warm the bottle of olive oil by placing it into warmer water to make it flow better this should help a lot but if the drop's that the doctor has given you is actually helping then warm that up & put the drops into your ear there is one other thing to try opening your mouth wide & twisting your lower jaw in the opposite side when it is open & this should help clear the popping noise or it may even solve the problem if this helps still do as suggested above but you need to get to the doctors tomorrow it sounds like you have extra wax made into your ear I have this sometimes & all you can do is try to warm that ear with the warm drops the warm bit is Very important so as it works quicker & when you go to bed tonight do as above & get back to the doctors tomorrow as it may now be soft enough (the ear wax) for them to syringe the ear to empty the excessive wax which should cure the problem then & you should always keep small bottle of olive oil in house for future times as this is not a cure but some people produce this extra wax in the ears all you can do is make sure you use a little olive oil into your ear's every week so it don't become so blocked up like it has done now.
