I have sharp pains in my lower right side.

Sharp pains in center of right side of back?

• For over a month, only on occasion.. when i lay down i'll get this very sharp pain in the center of my back on the right side. It doesn't happen all the time but ever so often. Havn't had it happen for probably over a week but i laid down just now to go to sleep and I feel the same sharp pain shoot through the right side of my back. It's focused in one spot and hurts bad, except this time it happened 4 or 5 times before it stopped. So now i'm really wondering what this is? What causes sharp pains in the right side of your back, in the middle. such as if you take your right hand and simply reach to your right side and move your hand a little furthur to touch your back. Right there?
