Will gaining muscle increase your tolerance for pain?

    Pain tolerance is more of a mental thing in my experience. Working out to build muscle is not without a certain amount of pain. Over time, you will get used to this and the pain will no longer be something that "hurts". Gaining or losing muscle will do little to curb the bodies "injury sensors" or nerve endings. How you deal with their signal is up to you.
