Birth control causing severe pain ?
-
I started taking birth control in april of this year. My doctor put me on loestrin 24 and i was experiencing some horrible side effects, including this severe sharp pain in my lower abdomen and side followed by chest pain when taking a deep breath, coughing, etc. Im now on alesse, the generic form of lutera and the pain came back. could it really be from the birth control..because i have never experienced this before i started taking it and what could it be ? Im making an appointment for the doctor as soon as i can.

Answer:
I am not familiar with lutera but there is different birth controls on the market so I would discuss with your dr but it might be best to change prescriptions to another kind . There is low dosages on the market that arnt as bad . But definitly discuss the issues with your dr . Hope this helps
