Sharp nerve pain everywhere?

Just started taking Topamax for nerve pain due to nerve pain from spinal fusion. Nervous! Anyone else?

• I have horrible leg and foot pain due to nerve damage from a spinal fusion and I tried neurontin and it didn't help too much so now I'm starting topamax, plus the weight loss effect from it would be good help for my spine. However the side effects really scare me, but the pain puts me in tears. Does anyone else take this for nerve pain too and can tell me how they are doing?? I would love to hear from anyone with the same type of story. Thanks and Good Luck to You ALL.

  i was taking topamax for cravings,addictions. Its weird that topamax is taking for many different issues. Look it up, but i can tell u it was awful. I started loosing my memory, could not find the right words to have a normal conversation. paranoid, nervous, anxiety, ........It was really awfull how i felt while taking it. good luck
