My throat hurts really bad and it feels much worse than a sore throat.?

for some reason when i talk,swallow,cough or even yawn my throat really hurts and it feels really sore. I obviously know what a sore throat feels like but this time it feels much much worse, why is this?( i also have a cold)

When you have a sore throat your throat is just irritated or inflammed, but if it's something else like strep it is infected, making it more painful. Swallow a tablespoon of honey for a quick soother and make an appointment with your doctor. Hope you feel better :)
Strep throat
Make a solution of 1 part apple cider vinegar and 2 parts honey. Mix well and gargle with this every hour. You can swallow it too if you wish. And go see your doctor!!
