How to deal with Restless Leg Syndrome?

I think i have restless leg syndrome?

  • ever since i was a kid i've been having these pains in my calves at night. sometimes the pain reaches the knee. my doctor always told me it was 'growing pains' but i've never grown afterwards, and now i'm 17 and not growing at all. and i still get them. i've heard a little about restless leg syndrome but i'm not sure if i have it..with RLS the person's leg feels jittery and jumpy and like it has to move around a lot. with me it feels like someone is squeezing the bone in my leg. do i hav RLS? and if so, what do i do about it?

  • Answer:

a doctor would be best in order for a diagnosis, but i honestly think RLS is made up.

You don't have RELS-

RLS is a myth conjured for pharmaceutical companies in order to make money by selling a placebo for this concocted "disorder." You're just jittery. That's all.

I'm sorry about the pain you're experiencing. I have experienced RLS and my experiencing is more of a tingling and an uncontrollable need to move my legs constantly (it really disturbs sleep). Here are the symptoms of RLS: http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/restless-legs-syndrome/DS00191/DSECTION=symptoms It's completely possible that you have RLS, but I do think you need a definitive diagnosis from a Doctor. If the Doctor you saw before isn't helping, maybe you should see a different Doctor that will be more helpful and take your symptoms seriously. I hope you get answers and relief soon!

im not sure but my legs do that 2 sumtimes...
