Sharp nerve pain everywhere?

What causes nerve sharp pain on forehead?

• i been getting sharp pains like nerve pain on the top of my forehead and scalp. At first i thought it was a scar causing it but my whole forehead gets this pain that comes and goes... could it be related to a neck problem or something? It's weird but when i rub one side of my neck it is sore don't know if thats related though...

  That sounds like a problem with your sinuses, meaning a sinus infection or sinusitis or just really bad allergies. When congested or inflamed, the sinuses are so tender that even pressure on the skin can cause a lot of pain. Sudafed will help you with some of the congestion. If it's an infection, you're going to need antibiotics. I've had tons of sinus infections, and they never go away without help. The first antibiotic most doctors try for that is amoxicillin. You really don't want a rougher one than that if you can avoid it. Once you get better, eat some yogurt or a probiotic to replace the bacteria in your digestive system that died because of the antibiotics. Dannon makes a rather tasty one. There is no way that is caused by a problem with your neck. The only way they would be linked is if the infection puffed up your lymph nodes. There are tons of them in the body, but the ones in the neck are easiest to see and poke. The spot you're talking about that hurts is a lymph node. Anything swollen will hurt. Even without swelling, being sick can make the entire body hurt. Just think back to the last time you had the flu. Your whole body hurt, didn't it?
