Weird muscle twitching?

Muscle Help. Pain and Twitching?

• Hey all, So I have a muscle question. Last Thursday I played some basketball, which is usually hard on my knees and legs. The next day I found my left knee and quad in pain with twitching. I usually don't think much of the twitching because this occurs often with my body. Sure enough my leg returned to normal, however on the upcoming Sunday, it was my right knee with these problems. After a day or two the twitching in the right quad was done but the pain in the quad and knee was still there. I did not do anything for the pain thinking it would eventually go away. I decided to rest my lower body so I didn't do anything hard on my legs until Thursday. Played some more basketball (only at around 70% effort) and hours after wards there was no pain or anything, no twitching as well. But during the night, the pain came back along with the twitching in the right leg. However today (Friday) the twitching left as it usually does, but the pain however is still here. The pain is nothing great probably a 3 out of 10. However, I am at a loss of what to do, should I rest my leg until pain is gone? I can run and jump on it fine, but I don't want to repeat this cycle multiple times. Any ideas? Can anyone relate?

  It could be anything or nothing. Talk to a doctor about it so they can examine you and, perhaps, run some tests. We are not medically trained and neither is the internet.
