Why do I have a sharp pain in my head?

Sharp pain , in my head ?

  • about 4 years ago i aws running and feel onto the corner of a glass table. It cut my head .. about 3 inches.. not very deep... and then i had it glued up ( like stiches kinda thing ).. now after 4 years i still have a wierd feeling there like a sharp pain. i went to the doctor about 2 years ago and he said it was a trapped nerve and it would go away.. what else could it be ?? i also get alot of earache aswell could this be linked to this .. basically all i am asking is .. what could this sharp pain be ?? please help i am only 14 lol this pain is at the middle/back of my head .. also i looked on the internet .. and it said i had a brain tumour.. i am freaked out :s

well you can get sharp headaches call ice pick headaches and they are cause by fluctuations in hormones and if you are stressed alot this could be your problem ice pick headaches are a close cousin to migraines and if you have a trapped nerve your best bet is to talk to your doctor and he can put you on a nerve medicine such as Topamax which can help with migraines and is a medicine for seizures it's totally safe and it might work well for your situation. belive it or not, jaw clenching and teeth gringing at nite can cause sharp head pain in head during the day. cuz the strap muscles span over the skull as well as in the neck.
