What does it mean when your lower back hurts?

My lower back has been hurting for a while....I cant bend down and when I lay down and try to get up it hurts really bad also when I sneeze or laugh really hard.

your could have over worked it. or if your anything like me your lower back could be extremely weak. i suggest sitting with proper posture (straight back, absolutely no slouching) and see if that helps at all. good luck! :)
