Why does the bottom of my foot pop when I stand up?

Extreme Foot Discomfort problems?

Okay so on the bottom of my foot, there is like something popping out. At first I thought it was a vein, but my mom says its a tendon (a lot more probable since I don't really think veins pop out of bottom of feet) I found a foot online, and to show where it is: http://s2.postimage.org/b85c8kmxf/foot.png Anyways it randomly almost hurts. Not exactly pain, but it gets very tight and is EXTREMELY uncomfortable. It started out earlier today, but it was just a weird sensation like having plastic on the bottom of my foot, and I mostly ignored it. Now its gotten to the point of having to hobble around, and a LOT of discomfort. Any help? Does anyone know what it is? or from? I haven't done any running recently, or any thing of the sort. (Nothing unusual.)
