A pain on the left side of my chest/heart?

Pain on the left side of my face when I touch it or when I touch cold water with left hand?

  • I took a nap today and after I woke up I felt the left side of my face weird. It was almost as if I had a shot of anesthesia in a nerve. So after this I went to wash the dished and when the cold water hit me I had to stop because the pain that it caused on my left side of the face is horrible!! I can stand the pain when I touch it with my hand but not whenever I touch any cold water.. oh also if i touch cold water with my right hand i feel NO PAIN ;it only happens when i touch cold water with my left hand right now my face feels thingly but only the left side i had a root canal about 3 years ago and the pain that i feel is the same as when the doctor had injected me with about 6 shots of anesthesia because i was so nervous that it was wearing off quickly and when he was the dooing the 6th shot the pain was unberable it felt like electriciy shock ...i dont know if that has anything to do with it since it was 3 years ago...??

  • Answer:

Think about this...you're talking about nerves and pain and numbness. So, why haven't you gone to the ER, a clinic or urgent care? You need to go right now. The internet isn't for medical diagnosis. We aren't trained to examine you, run tests or know medical history. Sometimes, you need to trust your gut and common sense...and go to the ER or urgent care or a doctor and stay off internet forums.
