Are all UCs good colleges?

Can I see my SAT score before I send it to UCs if I take it in Nov?

• If I take the SAT again in November of my senior year, is it possible for me to see what score I get before I send it off to colleges (in particular, Berkeley and UCLA whose applications are due in Nov but usually accept SAT scores until January)? I did amazing on reading and math so there's a really good chance that my score will go down. I am mainly retaking it because I did really bad on writing (which I'm sure I can improve because I didn't study at all the first time around) and a lot of private colleges superscore so I think I can improve it overall that way. But for one sitting, it's highly likely it will go down so I want to know whether I will be able to see my score before deciding if I should send it to UCs. (I know they take the highest anyway, but it might look bad if it goes down and makes my good score seem like a fluke or something.)

  It depends. If you do Early Decision, you might run pretty close. Regular Decision should be fine though. Why not take on October though?
