    you choose you gsce options this year and start them next year. i was level 5 in english when i left primary school, im sure you are higher than this?!?! if not this would be foundation. you should get 4 gcses for english maths and science. i dont know what linear paper is. you shouldnt be doing a gcse exam in year 9 anyway though.
