Where could I take an IQ test that's not fake?

Should I take an IQ test? Please read and give an opinion?

• im 16 yrs old and at the moment im undecided on whether I should take an IQ test or not. But the thing thats stopping me is that I may do worse than I expect. For many years I've thought of myself as pretty intelligent (im sorry if it sounds like im bragging, but i think that is an important part that shouldnt leave out, and i do not think that i am better than everyone else), which may sound like a good thing except i feel like every day i have to make sure im on top, and that has turned my world into one of competition. If i were to take an IQ test and score below what i expect of myself, it can really kill me, and i can lose a lot of motivation, somethin im scared of. When i was in 7th grade i went into counseling, and my psychologist suggested i take an IQ test so at the end of every session if we still had time I would test, however I ended the therapy before I could finish the testing, I use to think that was a good thing that i didnt finish because even back then I was worried If i found out my results, I would be dissapointed. But recently I've been reading a book called "Outliers" and when hearing constant talk about geniuses and other intelligent people from the book and elsewhere, the idea of taking an IQ test has popped up once again. Should I take the test? Please give an opinion, hopefully some1 has been in my situation b4 and can tell me what they did

  Take it. I am pretty confident you'll do good. If you think you are smart, you probably are. You sound very intelligent. You'll never know if you don't try. You'll regret not doing it. Give it a shot.
