Are SATs really hard?

It seems like SATs are really hard to me and im just a sophmore, is that normal?

• i started to go to SAT tutoring school and noticed that it was really hard, not the reading nor writing but more like math. i went home and talked with upper classmen and they told me that i was retarded and brought my self-steem really low...lol im average in school but im not sure where im at... im making an effort to studying everyday and going to tutoring once a week and everyday in the summer. will that make it better? btw i didnt take the PSAT either :/

  Take practice tests (search online or buy SAT practice books) so you get a feel for the test. The material is fairly basic, as long as you learn what types of questions will be on the test and the strategies you should use to attack them, you'll be fine. Don't stress so much. You have plenty of time, and the SAT's really aren't as important as people say.
