AP Exam Review Books - Which are the best?

Which is the best AP World History and AP European History exam prep book available?

  • I want a prep book that goes through the information thouroughly yet does not elaborate on topics that are not not covered or only minorely covered on the ap exam. My teacher reccomends Princeton Review but I find their books to be incomplete, though I'm not 100% sure of that. Help?

  • Answer:

http://www.APReviewBooks.com has the highest rated review books for each of the exams. For Euro, many swear by the Modern European History book, http://www.apreviewbooks.com/product/0070674531/Modern-European-History. The key is to get a book for each class early and use it often. Work all the way through the review book and do all the practice exams under timed, closed note condtions. Take the time to understand all the quesitons you miss. This process takes time so start early in March. Many students make the mistake of studying just a week before the exam, not allowing time to relearn problematic material. Best of luck in your endeavors.

From what you described I's say Princeton Review but here are some alternatives 5 Steps to a 5 They cover more than Princeton Review but not as much as Barron's. Personally I hate Princeton review, and prefer 5 steps to a 5 and Barron's. Also 5 steps to a 5 introduces the AP exam better than any other review book
