Does it matter which board you get your pharmacy technician certification?
-
NHA, NCCT, PTCB?
-
Answer:
Yes it does. Every state has different requirements for becoming a technician, and some states require PTCB (ExCPT is the other one that is taken by SOME states). I recommend PTCB because it has the longest track record and is the best known. To check out your state requirements go to (it is free): http://www.pharmacytechnicianhq.com/ For national certification information go to (also free): http://www.pharmacytechnicianhq.com/certification/ Best of luck,

I think PTCB is preferred by most employers. It is the one I am most familiar with.
