Study Abroad in High School Or College?

Im planning on going to the philippine to study for college but i dont have a high school diploma?

  • I am currently a high school student here in hawaii, but im moving to the philippines... i used to live and went to school there until i came here in hawaii after graduating in elementary. i am currently 17 years old, and a high-school junior student... is there a way to get a high school diploma without going back to high-school... a test perhaps? that could determine if im ready for college there?

  • Answer:

I'm not sure if universities in the Philippines would accept international students who don't have a high school diploma. It would be best if you consult the university's website. For international students, they usually ask for SAT scores or a GED. The Department of Education has a Filipino equivalent of the GED, which I think you can take if you don't want to take your senior year in the Philippines.
