Is 1160 a good, fair, or bad SAT score?

Why did my first real SAT score came out so much lower than my last mock SAT score? really depressed...?

• sorry, i just need to rant a little because my score has really got me down i spent a month in SAT classes during the start of my school year and took my first real SAT I test in october (which is the earliest sat test a junior can take in my school) somehow i was really happy with my last mock test score (no specifics, but around 1800's) but now i got my score back from my REAL SAT test and got around the 1600's i don't understand....i actually thot this time's essay was actually ok. i thot i wrote a good essay, but i got my lowest score on it. why was there such a big difference? i figure me being not good at taking tests is one thing and also the fact that i'm a right brainer for the arts may have affected it but i was prepared! D: i thot i could at least maintain my mock score..... does someone have some advice? i want to shrug this off, but i can't seem to right now ): thanks in advance ><

  Were you anxious? Were you sleep deprived? Did you feel certain sections were harder? What were the score breakdowns for expected and results? Post answers to those questions on my message board, and we'll go from there.
