Can SAT prep books improve your score?

  • my cousin gave me his BARRON sat book, and I was wondering if reading through the book will actually improve your score. I was wondering if you guys had any experiences where the book has improved your score also. Thanks....i take the SAT in a month so i really wanna aim for a 2000+
