Does anyone have any good studying tips/strategies?

I'm a freshman in a very challenging high school, and I have a lot of weekly tests and exams and I have to do a lot of studying. Currently my way of studying is just reading and taking notes and highlighting stuff, does anyone have good tips or strategies to study? I really want to develop a good way of studying so I can get good grades. Thanks!!!

The best way I learned the information and material is for someone to quiz me. I had my parents help me and older siblings and a study buddy at school. I recommend a study buddy of some sort, whether it be your parents or siblings or a friend from school.

I'm a junior in high school. My way of studying is reviewing every night for everything. Also, ask the teacher if you have absolutely any questions. Don't develop the habit of procrastinating because it'll only hurt you in a few years. The day before the test, review a couple homework problems that you think might be on the test.
