• How much do AP programs or classes actually help in your life, and your application into universities? I heard from someone that it is just for your "own personal challenge". Well, if i'm getting low marks for my own "personal fun" what is the point of advanced placement if i can't get into a desired university because my marks are low? Sure they prepare you for provincials and university courses, but if i can't get into a university, what's the point?

  When I took an AP course in high school, any grade you got it's points in GPA were automatically higher anyways, because it was an AP class. For example, if you make a D in that course, it is considered a C in another course, and you get the points for a C. Don't know how yiour college does it. *your I took one AP test. Didn't get to use that course for anything here. Had to take all of my history courses.
