What is the best way to prepare for IELTS?

IELTS.. I grew up speaking English so I didn't prepare for my IELTS.... ADVICE!!!?

• English is my first Language so I didn't really prepare for the IELTS... But since the test's in a few hours I'm Nervous.. Though I did SOME ONLINE preparation.. Do you think I'll get the required Score to get into Uni???

  You may get the required score but it is not guaranteed. IELTS is not just a test of one skill (speaking) but of four skills. Since in few hours time you will be sitting for the exam, there will be no time for more review. Just few points to share: In Listening-watch out for the spelling, tenses, and number. There are words that sound the same but are written/spelled/spelt differently. ex. scene, seen. Also, you must write your answer that agrees in tense and number with subject. Don't exceed in the number of words. If it states NO MORE THAN 3 Words, then limit your answers to 3. In Reading- the answers in multiple choice and Y/N/NG questions appear in order as the information in the passage. Use scanning and skimming skills, speed reading technigue like reading from top-bottom not left to right. Use also clues within the sentence. In writing- Never restate the words in the question. use specific words to describe. In task 1, find the trends-the smallest, the biggest, the equal and compare and contrast. In task 2, always explore vocabulary and include references like your own experience. Organize your ideas. Speaking- Give answer in the correct tense. If the verb in the question is present tense, by all means your answer must be in the present. Just concentrate, relax and you will be fine. Good luck
