Where can I take an SAT Subject Test?

  • So I have a dream of becoming a cardiothoracic surgeon and go possibly go to a huge college one day to achieve that. And I see most of my college options ask for SAT Subject Tests. I have talked to every teacher at my school and my school counselor and they have never heard of it. They just tell me that most schools accept your SAT and ACT but I keep telling them I need to take an SAT Subject Tests over courses like Biology or Chemistry. But they still have no clue and most just make me leave. Now I live in a small town in the Midwest but I really want to get out and work in the medical field. So anyone know where I can take an SAT Subject Tests?

You can register for them at collegeboard.com. If it's true that your counselor has never heard of this test, that's utterly ridiculous. Being from a small town is no excuse. He/she needs to do his/her damn job. Is this your guidance counselor you're talking about?
