Which test should i take - ielts or toefl?

Which test I should take IELTs, TOEFL, YELT. RTEP?

Hi everyone...I'm a visa student who came to Canada 2years ago, I have applied for 3 universities this september and both three r asking me to take these tests: IELTs or TOEFT. If i dont want to take these tests, I could take the test at York(YELT) or Ryerson (RTEP) depends on which school I want to go to. I dont know which one is easier? Most of my friends told me that the hardest one is TOEFT. Has anyone ever took these tests or knew about them pls let me know. Thank you very much!!!
