How to revise for gcse's.?

Hi im 15 currently in year 11. I have already had loads of GCSE's but when i revise i swear it never goes in.. What i do is read a revision booklet and copy out the main points and also go through past papers (just answer them). How should i revise any tips, i loose focous easily, and i dont know.... HELP!

Try lots of different methods. As well as reading the revision booklets and copying out the main points, make revision posters with thought showers on them or flash cards that you can carry around with you. I also recorded myself saying the more difficult things out loud and put it onto my ipod which really really helped. Your past papers will be the most useful source of revision as this will help you with exam technique but you need to make sure that you have the knowledge before you attempt them. Also, use bright colours as this helps you to remember things.
