    I don't know what you mean take on but i can say, a large work burden. And you'll need to be prepared to take on a pressurizing routine and large work burden. Even so it is very rewarding. You need to be proficient at the following, and qualifications wise: Biology / Chemistry - Good routes into the understanding of drugs and anatomy. English - For good communications skills, also languages would benefit as you might be dealing with foreign patients. But it would be most beneficial to learn a more obscure language eg. Polish, Bengali, Arabic or Chinese, as these are common and are in high demand for translation.

u dont need 2 b concerned about GCSEs as u hav to do maths and science anyway for A level, you must do chemistry and biology. Maths is highly recommended also
