[Start] "Is it important to question the ideas and decisions of people in positions of authority?" The evolution of human civilization is not possible with falls and rises of empires and rebel inserructions. It is important for everyone to question their leader's beliefs and actions because following blindly in a leader's path will bring destruction upon those followers. Questioning can ultimately lead to a better future; America is an excellent example. The American Revolution was a event where colonists of North America rebeled because Great Britain authorized expensive tariffs, law oppression and benefited a much higher percent of products. All these factors and many more were authorized by the King. Eventually Patriots rose against the Crown in order to seperate from England and become an independent autocracy. These patriots gathered in secret to talk about the problem with the King's policies. Eventually these enlightment thinkers would come up with better solutions in government rule. The writing of the Constitution created a nation approving human rights, called The United States of America. Not questioning a leader will lead the followers to their own falls. The fall of the Roman empire is an example. Citizens grew apathetic of went on in the tribunes, and allowed countless rulers to furthur weaken the empire. Eventually, not questioning the leaders, the Empire fell into the dark ages, a reverse age of poverty and disease. If one does not question the leaders, they will fall to their doom.
