How much can I raise my SAT score in a month?

Possible to raise my SAT score by 360 points?

• I'm having some trouble with the SAT's. I was wondering if with some hard work and determination I could bring my SAT score up by 360 points. Below you will find my scores for each of the individual sections. I'm thinking about hiring a tutor or someone with experience in helping people prepare for the SAT. Math-280 Reading- 360 I know these scores are quite low but I'm in my senior year of high school and I've been really trying to make a change. My current GPA for my senior year reflects that at a 93. I'm just wondering if I buckle down and really make it a priority if I can make this happen. Thanks in advance and any help is very much appreciated.

  I took a course, something like five hours for six Saturdays. This was back in 2004 when it only had two sections Math and Verbal. I scored 500 for Math, 700 Verbal and I was having a very bad day. Who knows how well I would have done a second time on a better day. So for me the test prep was invaluable but before you hire someone ask around to see if there are any deals on SAT prep courses. Also buy the prep book before you hire anyone independently. Come at them with questions based on what the book says and how you think you went wrong. It is possible to raise your score? Yes. It will take lots of hard work but once you get to college it'll be worth it because you'll have learned how to study hard. One more thing. If you find that all of this doesn't help and you don't raise your scores sufficiently don't give up. Go to a community college or junior college for a year or so with the view to transfer to your ideal school. Good luck!
