Can You Please Grade My Practice SAT Essay?

ACT or SAT? Which did you take, and which should I take. (practice and real.)?

  • Heyy I'm only in 7th grade, but i got invited to do duke tip and do the practice ACT or SAT. I'm not sure which to do. the ACT doesnt take as long, and wrong answers are not counted against me. But i heard its hard in math, but im also good in math. Its Essay is also optional, but i dunno what to do. The SAT is a 4 hr test, and it has more parts and you have to write essays. More info on these please, and which should i do for it, and probably for highschool too.

    I got Duke TIP is 7th grade too, and I went with the ACT. Personally, the ACT is easier one. Plus, it gives each subject to you in go, not in seperate sections. And, as you stated, wrong answers don't count against you. If you do take the ACT, don't take the essay portion, because you're only in 7th grade, and that part could count against you.

The ACT is 4 hours, too. But I would definitely take the ACT. Since you won't be starting college right away, you should think about the future. Right now, more and more students (and colleges) are prefering the ACT, simply because it makes more sense (as a test). I took the ACT in September, I'm 16, and did well by studying the Princeton Review Prep Book.
