Why Are Some People So Controlling In Relationships?

Controlling idea for English regents?

• I took the english regents today and I was wondering if there could be more than one controlling idea. Many people I know said they put moving on in relationships and some put supportive relationships. I kinda of put of mixture of both. I stated that both relationships with supportive and loving but both relationships were also at a turning point (Mrs. Scarlatti was in the hospital and his son were growing up) and even though they were at a turning point, the relationships still had a positive impact on their lives. Will I get any points off for mixing both together?

  Yeah, there could definitely be more than one possible controlling idea. I pretty much put what you put lol. I put something like....Although relationships are always progressing, they may continue to experience a strong mutual foundation....it wasn't exactly like that but close. I don't think you'll get points off as long as you put enough details to support your controlling idea. What sucks for me though is that I didn't realize we only had a little less than a page to write that paragraph so I was putting so much details for the first Passage that when I started writing about the second Passage, I didn't have much room... >.>
