How hard is it to double major in English and Biology?

A-Level biology, psychology, english and spanish?

  • how hard will this be? i want a career in first school/primary school teaching so i'd just like a broad set of subjects. i get B's in biology and A's in english. i don't take psychology or spanish at GCSE though. any advice, or other subjects i can pick? how hard will those be with the GCSE subjects i have got?

  • Answer:

If you have no prior knowledge of Spanish they won't let you take it (although obviously I don't know you). Psychology will be fine with no GCSE and goes well with Biology. And then English is a good essay-writing subject to have. History and Classical Civilization are also good essay subjects that universities like (admittedly I'm biased because I'm taking both). The fact that you have a science and a language gives you a nice range. I'm sorry, I don't know if Psychology is an essay subject or a science :/ The most important thing is that you enjoy the subjects because then you'll get better grades. Trust me, I'm taking 3 subjects I love and 1 I hate but got a good GCSE grade in... Guess which I can't wait to drop next year!
