Timeless gift ideas for our newborn baby girl?

  • We are having a baby girl next month and we like to buy something on the day our baby is born to keep to give as their 21st birthday present. For our son we bought a limited edition, 13 year old single malt whiskey that was bottled the month he was born. This has already been wrapped and put away for safe keeping until he turns 21. Now, for our little girl I have some ideas but I'm not sure about them: 1. Buy a gold charm bracelet with solid heart. Engrave the heart with her name, birthdate and weight. 2. Buy a gold baby bangle, engrave with her name and birthdate. Let her wear it until she's outgrown it and then keep for her 21st. 3. Buy a gold charm bracelet and buy a new charm with meaning for each of her birthdays and present to her for her 21st birthday. Thoughts? Any other ideas you might have? Thanks in advance!

    what i did was bought a diamond braclet thats supposed to be for mom and daughter.. it comes with adult and 0-3months braclet.. but im going to let her wear the baby one and save the big one for her.. and im going to keep the baby one when she grows out of it.. part of the baby books we save of our kids.

I like the. Harm bracelet. We bought our baby girl a sterling silver charm bracelet and are getting her a new charm for every major occasion. Not sure where you live, but James Avery has great charm bracelets.

I think if you bought one kid alcohol, the other one is going to feel a little jipped on her 21st birthday when she gets jewelery. What about a special champaigne or bottle of wine? It would be along the same lines as the whiskey, but more feminine.
