Can you suggest a camera that takes good pictures and video?

Best video camera that also takes pictures?

  • i need to know what the best camera that doubles as a video camera is. ive heard a lot about the cannon rebel t3i and would like either that, or something like it. it needs to be a thousand dollars or less, and it needs to have a screen that flips out so i can see myself and such from the front. is the t3i the best choice? or not? remember, i still want my camera to take amazing photos as well

    Your question would be better phrased as 'best dslr that also takes video?' But your choice is very good. I have a 7D which I use for videography and I would loooove that flip screen. At the moment I use a laptop to preview from funny angles which I imagine is totally impractical for you. The t3i pops up alot with videographers, just be sure to get a nice lens.
