What exactly is 2D and 3D visual communication?

Are there any websites or forums that talk about 3D art?

  • So, I was wondering if there were any 'forum' based communites that I could go to so I could ask questions to those people. It would help me out so much to learn from people who are in the trade. Yeah...I know there are SOME 3D artist on Deviant art...but Deviant art isn't a communication community. I can't really talk and ask questions, and most of the best arts...just ignore questions all together. (Heart breaking really...) If you know of any digital(2D) art forums as well, please share them. I could learn a lot from them as well. Thank you so much for sharing.

    The best one is CGtalk part of the CGsociety http://forums.cgsociety.org/ You'll get industry pros and people who really know their stuff on there. Its got sections for 2d stuff as well I think. It's you again! Hi!

I think this might be what you're looking for. I just googled it so I've never been the before so I don't know the "quality" of the discussions going on lol. I glanced over it though and it looks like theres a lot of discussions going on about a bunch of different kinds of 3D art http://www.3dmd.net/forum/
