How to make it feel like its christmas time?

during christmas time, im always excited for it. my family has a calender that you change everyday to see how many days until christmas. i always listen to christmas music every year, and go to the mall for shopping, and wrap gifts, and decorating the tree with my family, and decorating the house with my family, and making christmas cards and all sorts of other christmas stuff. on christmas eve, i go to my aunts house with everyone on my dads side of the family. its always so much fun because i love my dads side of the family. my family is soooooo funny and energetic and really down to earth. we play just dance as a family and laugh and give out gifts to each other and eat together and have a toast and i am a 15 year old boy and obviously i dont believe in santa claus anymore :'( but i have a brother and younger cousins that do and its always fun to see their reactions on christmas eve and their excitement and my other cousins and i always track santa on norad every christmas eve! its really fun, but me and my cousin that is 15 as well, (but a girl lol) we say that it doesnt feel like christmas and that it came tooo fast. personally i like christmas eve better than christmas day because of all of the family and excitement for santa and all of the magic, but on christmas day, (dont get me wrong christmas day is great) all of the magic and excitement is over from opening presents in like 20 to 30 minutes. is there anyway to make it feel like christmas time? and is there anyway to slow down the holidays so that they dont go by tooo fast? thanks for reading! :) MERRY CHRISTMAS! what makes people feel like it's christmas is doing what they did as a child re creating something close to there past experiences of christmas, for many people, simply having a lot of fun is all that's required. In your case, what you remember christmas for is christmas eve, am I right? - I can't blame you; that sounds awesome! so if you want christmas day to be as awesome, do some of the things you do on christmas eve. be inventive, play the same kind of games and jokes that you play on christmas eve. find some new traditions that you haven't tried yet. Have fun, laugh. make a little award for your parents/siblings if you have any (best mother in the family, most funny parent, biggest little brat, etc make them funny so you can have a laugh.
